BUDOKAN – A “NO SHOES” DOJO

From now on, the club will be a "no shoes dojo" meaning that before entering the dojo you must remove your shoes and place them on one of 2 shoe racks located at the main entrance. This applies to spectators as well as athletes. Please keep your feet clean and please please respect this requirement. To keep the dojo floor clean, please clean up any mess you make or see. Put any rubbish in the bins located in the hall or kitchen. We will be providing cheap slides to wear in the kitchen. We have also bought a new vacuum cleaner and have agreed to a roster for vacuuming the hall between the 3 resident “Budokan Training Centre” clubs: Universal Combat Academy on Monday, Makotokan Aikido on Wednesday, and Budokan Judo on Saturday.  If you are a watching parent on the side of the mat, please help the club by vacuuming or cleaning up any mess that you might notice, or feel free to empty the club’s bins into the Showground’s bins when you notice them getting full. Please try to keep your hall clean so that we can maintain the no shoes policy.
