NSW JUNIOR POINTS AND SENIOR KYU GRADES – 29TH OCT - RESULTS

 

  • Our Juniors 
    Christian Constantinou: Gold u30, including a huge Ippon from a Gake counter. Ali McPherson: Unplaced for u36/u40 combined and 1st in a special division with a good Kouchi Gari and groundwork Edan Koltai: Silver u34, with some good counter work and groundwork.  Alicia Gunardi: Gold u52, with a big O-goshi and transition Pete Cheon: Gold u50/u55 combined, including great use of Tai-Otoshi and forward-back switch 
  • Senior Kyu Grades

We had 3 athletes in Orange and Green Belt divisions, 2 of whom from our Monday group competed for the first time and this is a great milestone for them: Reza Ashouri: Unplaced due to injury u81, after being a Waza-Ari aheadDeklan McLennan: Unplaced u73, in a tough group, but with good use of grippingQuentin Chan: Gold u66, with a good combination of throws and groundwork A huge thank you to Suzi Tandean who was the club’s sole competition volunteer for the whole event although none of her children were competing in it. Also thanks to Andras Koltai and Amber McIndoe for covering the always important coaching role whilst we were coaching in Melbourne.
