Our first club-hosted competition for 2026 is just a month away. Our 2 competitions for 2026 have only just been added to the Judo NSW calendar. Please add this 8th March event to your calendar as well as 2nd October for our second competition. We had a great turnout last year so let's give our youngest competitors from all clubs a great opportunity to shine. Information sheets attached.
- Entry will be $30 this year (cash at the door), the first increase in many years. There will be Novice and Graded divisions and staggered weigh-ins for each age category.
- We will again need our older Juniors, our Seniors and our parents to assist in the running of this event, for activities including set-up (on Saturday 7th March at 2.30pm during the Junior class), and on competition day: front door entry, weigh-ins, first aid, match progression, scoring, timing, athlete marshalling, canteen, BBQ, and so on. We will place a sheet on the main table at the club where you can place your name indicating your willingness to help. Please talk to Rob if interested in any of the key jobs and unsure what to do. I have attached instructions for key roles in the email accompanying this newsletter.
