BUDOKAN’S OLYMPIC PROFILE
- Australian Olympic Committee Education Program. In September, Josh was selected as part of the first AOC cohort in partnership with Athletic Ventures (AV), to a three-month programme focused on finance, investing, and entrepreneurship for athletes.
- Australian Olympic Changemaker Program. During November, Nathan spent a week with the AOC, other Olympians and 24 inspiring, young change-makers at the annual Change-Maker Summit. The Changemaker Program is for Year 10, 11 or 12 students who actively demonstrate leadership through sport and/or use sport as a vehicle to improve health and wellbeing and drive social change in their school and/or local community. The summit empowers a selection of these students to make positive change in sport, and within their communities more broadly. Nathan wrote “The privilege to work with, mentor, and encourage the next generation of young Australian leaders is a significant one, and one I never take for granted.”
