Budokan has always supported its athletes financially and has also contributed in the past to a number of significant club equipment purchases and building improvements (albeit we rent the hall from the Showground). We also pay honorariums to our coaches but these are nominal and do not reflect the real value that the coaches provide. In line with our “community club” values, we have also kept the cost of training to our members down to a minimum to allow widespread accessibility to the broader community. We want to do more in all of these areas but to do so, we need your help. The attached letter shows you how you may be able to help. Please take time to read it and think about whether you know of opportunities or contacts that we could utilise on behalf of the club to support our club sponsorship goals.
