2022 Kata World Championships, Krakow Poland – 13–14 Sep22:Although posted on our Facebook pages I somehow missed reporting the following in our October Newsletter. Congratulations to Team Budokan's Bjorn Tandean and Bernhard Tandean on their well-earned Bronze medal at the World Kata Championships in the Junior category of Katame-No-Kata (Ne-Waza or groundwork kata). We are very proud of you guys and very happy for your achievement. This result represents the first medal at a World Kata Championships for the Oceania region. As mentioned in the September Newsletter, as a strong (Shiai/combat) competition club, Budokan is proud to also have a core support for Kata learning and competition.
