  • Combat AUS Athlete Advisory Committee

This month the Combat Institute of Australia (Combat AUS) announced the inaugural Combat AUS Athlete Advisory Committee. Congratulations to Nathan Katz who has been appointed as Chairperson for this Committee.   This Committee is new initiative and recognition of the value of the athlete voice in playing a key advisory role in the planning of the Combat AUS Performance program activity covering Judo, Taekwondo and Boxing. Congratulations Nathan. 

  • Combat AUS / AIS Mental Fitness Ambassador

Congratulations to Josh Katz who has been named as an AIS Mental Fitness Ambassador working alongside the Black Dog Institute. The AIS Black Dog Mental Fitness Program is a positive psychology program, which allows elite athletes to engage with high school students and sporting clubs in mental fitness and resilience building strategies. The program provides athletes like Josh an opportunity to meaningfully connect with their community, while building personal and professional skills that will help them during their sporting and post sporting careers. Congratulations Josh.
