Nick Murkins, the Budokan Member Protection Officer (MPO) has been working on policies and procedures which will support the club’s desire to protect our most valuable assets, our children. The documents have been prepared and are currently being reviewed by the club Committee. Once finalised, we will send them to all Committee members, coaches, assistant coaches and regular coaching supporters, with a requirement for each person to formally agree to, comply with and enforce the requirements. We would then circulate all the documents to all club members. This would be done via a display at the club for review with signage to identify them. There would be a provision available for members and parents to provide feedback. We would also add a link to our website. The documents would be periodically reviewed and updated as required.
