Over the 22-24 September weekend, Budokan had a small but significant representation of 4 athletes who competed in 3 divisions of the 2023 Open Schools Championships, and 5 divisions of the 2023 Queensland International Open, both held at the impressive Nissan Arena in Brisbane. Well done to all these guys for really stepping up and showing great improvement in this competition. Every competition entered reaps significant benefit in terms of time on the competition mat, and improved confidence and competence in competition – well done guys. 4 Gold, 1 Bronze and 2 x 5th places is a great outcome.
