Congratulations to the 21 Budokani MONS, Junior and Senior Boys and Girls who competed in 25 divisions at the Shinsei competition last weekend. For many of these young athletes, this was their first experience in Judo competition, and a milestone event in what will hopefully be a long Judo career. It is great to see such a high level of participation and well done to the club coaches who supported these athletes and endured a long day: Kerrye, Dale and Andras.
Overall these athletes took home 9 x 1st places, 9 x 2nd places, 4 x 3rd places, plus 1 x 4th & 1 x 5th. Individual results are listed below. Frances Koltai went a bit crazy with the camera at this event and over 600 photos have been posted at the following link. Feel free to download any photos you would like.
