BUDOKAN MONS/JUNIOR COMPETITION – THIS WEEKEND 6TH MARCH

Our first of two Budokan Mons and Junior competitions is being held this Sunday. The competition information sheet is attached to the email accompanying this Newsletter. I have also attached instructions for all the main roles. A sheet is available at the club for you to write your availability for any of these roles or for setting up on Saturday or packing up after the competition. I have all the paperwork ready and Kerrye and I have arranged trophies for special awards, but there will be some setting up needed on Saturday at 2.30pm. This gives parents time to drop their kids off at Junior Development / Senior Hub training at 2.00pm at Silverwater and come back to the club to help set up.

  • Setup activities include: Setting up the wood-backed mats on the competition area for the tables, setting up tables and chairs on the mats for table workers, first aid and referees, moving the scales from the kitchen to the change-room, setting up all chairs for spectators, moving the BBQ to near the front door, filling gas bottles for the BBQ, setting up the medals and trophies, moving the podium to the medals area, setting up tables for canteen, setting up the card table near the front door for entry, signage, bin liners, paperwork on tables for Draws, locating first aid kit, locating eskies etc. Sunday morning we need a few bags of ice for the eskies and relocating the BBQ. Your help would be appreciated.

We always need help for the canteen and BBQ, and for competition-related roles. Please let Rob know asap if you want to learn how to do any of these things and we can ensure you work with someone who has done it before. Please see the attached documents.
