JUDO AUSTRALIA NSW HUB RANDORI SESSION – 6THMARCH

In the adjacent dojo to the Junior Development session a Senior NSW Hub session will be run from 3.00 – 5.00pm. This is for Cadets and older who are Orange belt and higher and in particular those who wish to compete at State Open and higher levels.

INTERNATIONAL UPDATE – NATHAN AND JOSH

Ongoing Events.

  • Josh has been preparing in Hungary for the Tashkent (Uzbekistan) Grand Slam competing on 5th March. This will be live streamed at ippon.tv. We wish Josh all the success in the world in this event.
  • Nathan is making great progress following an injury in Qatar and is on track to compete in Georgia 26-28 March.

ILLAWARRA SENIOR KYU GRADES COMPETITION – 28TH MARCH

This is a great opportunity for Budokan seniors who are Orange belt and higher.  There are no Cadet and Junior Men/Women age categories (only the Senior category in which Cadets and older can compete. However, weight divisions are often combined so for younger lighter athletes care will be needed to assess the benefits versus risk. Please see Rob if in doubt.

UPDATE - TRAINING FEE ON-LINE VOUCHER PURCHASE SYSTEM

We have now sold over 40 Club Training Fee Vouchers from the on-line shop. Thanks to all those people who have followed the instructions on the club’s website at https://www.budokan-judo-club.com/judo-training-fees.html. The virtual Budokan shop located at https://revolutionise.com.au/budokanjc/ 

  • Don’t forget to use Active Kids Vouchers (available from Service NSW) if your child is eligible and send me (Rob) the details. As previously mentioned, Kelly McPherson is now helping me to follow up all club members regarding both Judo NSW membership and Budokan Club Training fees. Kelly’s contact is kellymc80@optusnet.com.au. Please note that purchase of Judogis (Judo uniforms) and other club merchandise is not available on-line.
